Josh is originally from Compton, CA and attended Stanford University where he received his B.A. in Sociology. Since leaving Stanford he’s spent the last 15 years playing professional basketball in the US, Greece, throughout Europe, Australia and Japan. An avid investor and philanthropist, Josh recently started the Landspire Group; a real estate investment and development firm focused on creating an impact in under-resourced communities. Through the Josh Childress Foundation, Josh created the first-ever Summer school scholarship at Stanford University, allowing student-athletes the opportunity to take courses during the summer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, reading and watching documentaries.
